Cannot Save Template Parameters

Hi

Am trying to save Social API Facebook ID but it seems suddenly I cannot save any template parameters.

When I click Save or Save & Close button, nothing happens. Seems to be a JS error, because the chrome inspector console is reporting these errors...

No this looks like You have some broken file inside joomla itself. Please try reinstall joomla.

If I re-install joomla, will I lose database, components and module positions etc? Can I just re-install joomla to overwrite existing files but not overwrite database?

Yes You can just overwrite joomla with a files from newer version, but please make a backup first, so if You overwrite some of modules/components/plugins files You will be able to restore it back.

Just incase somebody else has the same problem.
Try downloading the latest mootools more:

Include everything and check compress and compatibility too.
