[Solved]ReCaptcha plugin

I get this error:

ReCaptcha plugin needs a public key to be set in its parameters. Please contact a site administrator.

I don't know if it's an error - but the system is giving it. I've added my own recaptcha from google. still does it. what can be the problem?

Hi,

Please go to http://www.google.com/recaptcha to register an account then get the public key to input in the plugin configuration page then it will work. Check out details at https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... recaptcha/

i've already registered with google. and i inputed into the plugin..

i've tried both multiple domains and single domain key. still that error. the ReCaptcha still appears though on the page.. just that error message.

i triple checked everything.

private/public key is set correctly.
reCaptcha plugin is enabled.
The global setting is set to reCaptcha
user options is set to reCaptcha


The reCaptcha is visisble and works. however, that message is displayed.

I got this info from that topic:
GK reCAPTCHA is not available for Joomla 2.5 because templates use default captcha from Joomla.

So please use default captcha feature of Joomla instead!

so how do i turn everything off?

when i turn recaptcha off i get the please contact admin as it's not enabled in the error on the front...

actually.. i just installed another recaptcha plugin and everything started working.. interesting how you're plugin didn't work.. but it's ok. it's all good.

I get the same error with World News II Qucikstart 2.5 My submission form works and send email but still have this same warning message at top.

Yes I have tried them with no joy. I'm using the ReCaptcha that came with J2.5, I disabled the gkReCaptcha, set my private and public keys. In the registration popup the text "Captcha*" show but no captcha words shown. In the contact all works but warning message is shown.

i've disabled all recaptcha and installed System - RVS reCaptcha plugin.. it fixed all the issues..

Like I posted earlier, I've done all this. I have my public and private key configured. My contact form works but I STILL have the warning message at the top "RECAPTCHA PLUGIN NEEDS A PUBLIC KEY TO BE SET IN ITS PARAMETERS. PLEASE CONTACT A SITE ADMINISTRATOR."

Hello;
I've installed Joomla 2.5.2 with quickstart boutique template.

The subscription menu dnt display captcha and contact display captcha and error (psl see the attachment image)
