I cant upload new photos to slideshow

Hello,
I am using esport joomla 1.7 beacuse when i slect the module pozitions on joomla 2.5 i had a black screen sth like lightbox so i turned to 1.5. Now when i upload a new image to slideshow it says everthing is ok but nothing change no thumbnail or image.
Please solve my problem..
