Use template WITHOUT virtue mart?

Hello,
I want to confirm that I can use the export template WITHOUT having a store. I do not want virtue mart or the products currently displayed on the home page. I want the design and standard content on the home page. We may add a small shop in the future but I like the design of this template.

Hi,

If you have installed QuickStart, then you just need to uninstall VM and use homepage to show articles instead.

I used E-sport QuickStart and rightaway uninstalled VM, now it's giving me php errors:

I tried removing the VM block from layout.parts.php, then it gave another error, etc. I like the quickstart demo, just replacing VM with another component. Should i just use template without quickstart and set everything up manually?

You should go to config your New Pro GK4 modules to change data sources to not be from VirtueMart.

Go to Main menu and put the star in the menu you want to be the home page.

That could be a solution but @qingpool actually wanted to totally get rid of VM in his site.
