typography not showing in bullet and number lists

Hi curently I am using this template and none of the bullet lists are showing up on the site - it is happening with a number of templates, not justthis one.

All that shows is advlist. no matter what I have tried it has not worked in showing the bullet and number features within the article page.

As I mentioned it is not just this site I am working on - other sites where it once worked also now no longer works either.

A solution to the problem would be much appreciated as I would love to be able to use these bullets and numbers.
