front page featured not showing

i just installed real design 2.5 template. i couldn't do quick start as the site was already up and running. i've made 3 articles featured so that it would look like the home page in the demo but nothing shows up except modules on the bottom and header. i have changed the template to show main body on front page. in the menu, i have home page to show 3 intros. what else has to be done? here is link.

The 'home' menu item is set to show featured articles ?
