Changing home page doesn't show the content

WHen I try to change the openings page from the Kickstart to a K2 category, the content isn't showing.
Is there a way that I can open this personal blog with a blog/category overview?

Hi

I don't understand your question... i do see links opening in correct way.
If you want to link to some K2 category, you just need to added on the mainmenu.

Well... i have changed the Blog menu-item (it's a K2 category view) as default openings page for my website. If you take a look now, you will see that only the modules are visible but the (K2) content in't.

ok i see what you mean.
Please go to template parameters > Basic Settings and change "Main Body - FrontPage" option.
I suppose you have selected "Main Body only" option selected, so component is not being displayed on frontpage.
