Hi there,
I am having the hardest time uploading images for the slide show. I keep getting this error:

Warning: Failed to move file! Unable to upload file.

Does anyone know the proper way to upload images for the slideshow.
If a client were to do it, what is the easiest way?

Thanks,
Mel

Hi Mel,

Please check if these folders are rewritable:

- \tmp\
- \modules\mod_image_show_gk4\cache\

If not, please change permission for them to 755. If this doesn't help, please send me a PM with backend and FTP access then I will check further for you.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Okay I am not sure how to check if these files are rewritable:
- \tmp\
- \modules\mod_image_show_gk4\cache\

However, I did go to my FTP client, and right clicked on these folders:
- \tmp
- \modules\mod_image_show_gk4

And I noticed that their permissions were already set to 755.

I am not sure what to do at this point, and I would really appreciate your help. :-)

Here is my FTP login information below:

Hi,

I removed the FTP access info out of your post because here is a public place. I also need backend access to test uploading images, so please send me a PM with backend and FTP access again.

Thanks,

Hi Don Lee,
I didn't know how to send you a PM on here, so I sent it to you on your personal website at: jschase.com

Please let me know if you received it. I sent you the FTP info, and backend info to Joomla.

Thank you,

Thank you for the PM. Please contact your system admin to check this issue, I even can't edit the file configuration.php because of lacking permissions. He may need to grant more permissions for the user executing httpd service or something...
