k2 article layout modification

I would like to move author, publishing date, and all the meta info from before and after article into sidebar position of the article page. Is it somehow possible? I've tried modifying item.php file, but the only way how I see the result is put all the article into table with two columns (in first the article text and in the second all the info and social buttons etc.)

Is it possible to do somehow easier of k2 - jooma - gavickpro - music - friendlier?

Article view is the regular Joomla view which means that there is no way to move part of code from article view and put in sidebar. You can modify only layout inside article area but there is no option to put this data in some other part of template.
