Can I upgrade my Joomla 2.5 site to Joomla 3.3

Hi,

Soon I'm going to upgrade my Joomla 2.5 site to Joomla 3.x

I'm using your Music template: https://www.gavick.com/joomla-templates/music,78.html

Could you tell me if it is save to upgrade my joomla? Is the Music template compatible with joomla 3.x?

Hello,

This template was too old to upgrade to Joomla! 3.x so there is no official Joomla! 3.x version for this template. Most probably there will be some errors if you will upgrade your joomla.

Hi and thank you for your answer.

So what are you suggesting, to choose a joomla 3.x compatible template and loose all of my personal overrides, which are a lot and I've spent mounts configuring them? Also, if I upgrade to a joomla 3.x template from this experience I get at the moment it looks that I will have to change it again in the future. I want a template that is and will be compatible with all joomla versions. Could you recommend one please?
