No support for Jomsocial 2.8 ?

Hi, i just bought the Music template, but it looks like its not working with J2.5 / JS 2.8 ? ... i tried to find information about this template and JS version, but since nothing was written about it, i thought it was working with JS 2.8 ...Music template breaks the layout if i use the "JS template" made for JS styling.

Really ? ... okay this is what i am talking about! .... it's one thing i like about Gavick, you update your templates, and you do it fast, responsive, already many templates for J3.0 ...

It's a problem i think many people have, that are building a serious website, when new versions of Jomsocial and Joomla are released, they get problems because of the template providers....

To other people that read this post.... Gavick may not be the cheepest place to buy a template, but i promise you, it's worth it here... i seen update circles in other providers last for up to 8 months after new versions are releast of Jomsocial and Joomla.... you dont want that, it's a big big pain ... and even if you dont see the design you look for here, remember that a littel CSS and content, can change the look 100 % of a template

Hi, this is really good news but one question though, will we (subscribers) be informed about such updates or should we keep watching for new available versions? That will be nice to just receive a short email (newsletter maybe?) to inform all subscribers about updated versions available for download.

P.S. That is the reason I also buy a subscription from GK because I like all your templates, support is fast and additionally, your team act very fast in updated stuffs, thanks for your hard work guys, very appreciated.

I am much surprised that GK does not appear in the Joomla Template provider directory http://resources.joomla.org/directory/e ... lates.html as it should, you deserve it and I am sure, users of GK templates all have good reviews for your template guys.

Will there be support for Joomsocial in Bike Store? It works fine in Firefox, but goes nuts in IE, acting like it is an iPhone not a monitor taking the whole window width... Please help!

Hi, I know it's somehow a quick request but we desperately need the Jomsocial 2.8 update for GK Music as we are planning to launch our website by Wednesday this week, we want to upgrade to Jomsocial 2.8 before the initial launching, please, and sorry for the pressure guys.

I have to apologize, but today I've received JomSocial 2.8 compatible packages from our developer responsible for this update and unfortunately these packages was full of major bugs - that's why we cannot release it.

I've decided to be personally involved in the process of the package fixing, and we will work with these updates in the nearest three days and then we will release these packages ASAP.

We will start with the Music template, then TWN II and Musicity as last template. I'm really apologize for this inconvinience and I promise that we will release these updates as soon as possible. I hope that we will able to release these update soon and free from bugs.

I hope that you will understand - we cannot release a buggy product even if there is a non-official deadline :/

Thank you for these updates, thanks for informing us at least of latest update issues as some other developers prefer to keep us in the dark till updates are available, this help us at least to delay our deadlines.

Hence, we have now delayed the launching of our official website but, I am sure you'll understand, that as far as media and business constraints are concerned, we need at least to inform our sponsors, media and prospects about new official launching date and this time, we sincerely hope that we'll be able to respect such deadlines.

Is it possible for you to give us the final release date of the official version that will support Jomsocial 2.8? We need at least a date so that we can handle all pressure here till the availability of such update, please understand our current situation! As you mention, our first priority is about GK Music as our initial website is developed with this template itself and other ones will come soon.
