Changing buttons on 'whats new' module

Does anyone know where I can find the module/ settings to change the buttons in the 'whats new' module?

Those are the headers of each tab added on Tabs GK4 module.
Search on modules manager.

How do I edit these so they navigate the hero slider (whats new module) to K2 or virtuemart items?

As you probably already notice, the first tab is displaying "tab1" module position.
So if you go to modules manager and check what module is publish on "tab1" position, you will find that is Image Show GK4 module.

Now you can edit each slide and select between K2 article, Joomla! article and custom text (with custom url).
Or you can create you new slides, naturally
Images used on slides are not those articles, so you need to add your own.

I'm afraid this doesn't support directly VM2 items, but you can always use text type with custom url.
