Updating 2.9 to 2.10

According to the "history" in template manager the previous version was 2.6J from february but if I check my extensions manager I am on version 2.9 May 2012.
Is it still the same files as mentioned on the update page that needs to be ftp'd when upgrading to 2.10?
Why I am asking is since I did some modifications so I want to over-write the minimal amount of files.

It's weird since they should show the same version number in template manager and extensions manager. In order to get exact version of the template, you should open file templateDetails.xml under your template folder and look at version tag:
