Menu Subcontent Uses?

Hi

I'm currently experimenting with menu layout on the Music template.

I came across the "Menu Params" panel, which gives the option to assign Subcontent to module positions Menu1 through Menu10.

I was under the impression that this option would allow sub-menus to be displayed in different positions on the template, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

I have tried using a few of these module positions, but the outcome is always the same as the attached: submenu on permanent display and without formatting.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have now implemented an alternate solution for my site.

But, for my understanding, should the menu subcontent option allow you to display submenus in different module positions. For example, with the Music template, if I wanted to display a submenu listing for a main menu item in the right_top menu position should this be possible?

Module positions: menu1 - menu10 are to show a module inside submenu when group is configured that way.

But yes with using a mod_menu module You are able to show submenu only when You select to show only a second level of the menu.
