Hi
I think update process of Gavick template could be better. Correct me if this is wrong?! :shock:

I see in news that you have update. But no description on how to and no download on page:
https://www.gavick.com/updates/template ... c,675.html

I then go to https://www.gavick.com/download/joomla- ... music.html
And download gk_music_quickstart_J!25.zip.
(What version is I about to download?? Missing information on download page.)

Follow what files need to be override from update page.

In this language file a lot is missing:
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_LOAD
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_LOAD_BTN
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SAVE
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SAVE_BTN
TPL_GK_LANG_SHOW_MENU
TPL_GK_LANG_GOOGLE_PLUS_ANNOTATION
TPL_GK_LANG_GOOGLE_PLUS_WIDTH

It was there in v.2.6
(No where to find old version of update?!?!)

Can you confirm this?
And please make patching better. A zip-file with files change just to extract to my Joomla.
Or Eclipse patch.

Best regards,
Henrik

I've download latest package and this is what I've found in translation file :

Code: Select all
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_LOADED_AND_SAVED="Configuration successfully loaded and saved"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SQL_ERROR="An error occurred during saving the configuration"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SELECTED_FILE_DOESNT_EXIST="Selected file doesn't exist"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_FILE_SAVED_AS="Configuration file saved as "
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_FILE_WASNT_SAVED_PLEASE_CHECK_PERM="Configuration file wasn't saved. Please check the config directory permissions."
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_LOAD="Load configuration:"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_LOAD_BTN="Load"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SAVE="Save configuration:"
TPL_GK_LANG_CONFIG_SAVE_BTN="Save"

and this part is in quickstart and also in clean template version so probably you don't update file in root/languages but in template folder - this is why you have missing translation. Template version you can find in file templateDetails.xml between <version> </version> tags.

Hi Sorry,

You are right!...
Hmm.... now I'm wondering what whent wrong for me. I'm sure I download the rest and full files after reading the news about update. Override all files and I can se, that my template (xml) says 2.8.
But what whent wrong with my language file? Did I get updates to all other files?
Was I too fast to get the downlaod and the language files was missing?

I override language file again, and it works perfectly.

I think I will update other files, just to be sure :D

Hi

Good to hear it's working now :) I always forget about overwritting language files, so probably I'm not the only one.
