Mobile - iphone view

Hi Guys,

I have my normal site set up, MainMenu has a link called "home" this is default "home" page for the website.

I set up a mobile menu called "mobile_menu", in this menu i set up a menu item called "Home" with a link to a single article called "mobile homepage". This mobile_menu is default menu for iphone layout in music template.

However when i view via iphone, it shows the mobile layout and menu, however, it shows my MAINMENU Homepage not my MOBILE MENU homepage becuase MainMenu homepage is considered "home" of joomla, however this mainmenu homepage is styled for desktop and not for mobile.

How do i get mobile version to pick up a MOBILE styled article and desktop version to pick up a Desktop styled article?

I tried adding <gavern:desktop> and </gavern:desktop> to the article code, that would have been easiest, have one article called HOMEPAGE and have two versions of it that displayed based on those tags. But this didn't work.

I need help in displaying one article for homepage mobile, and the other for hompage desktop.

can this be done?

Bumpidy bump bump bump - anyone - can you prevent existing homepage from displaying for mobile devises and instead redirect to another article?
