Hi there.

I am not sure if the template was tested in all major browsers, but I have multiple layout issues as well as “Undefined index” errors and I need them to be fixed ASAP:

1. JomSocial home login screen has some layout issues. Please see the following screenshot at: [cut]

2. JomSocial user profile has some layout issues in edit mode. Please see the following screenshot at: [cut]
[cut]

3. JomSocial events screen has some layout issues. Please see the following screenshot at:
[cut]

4. JomSocial user profile avatar change (when user clicks on avatar) has some layout issues. It won’t show the “Browse” button to choose the avatar, etc. Please see the following screenshot at:
[cut]

5. JomSocial video screen has some layout issues. Please see the following screenshot at:
[cut]

Also:
Login as well as Register pop ups give “Undefined index” errors. Please see the following screenshot at: [cut]

NOTE: As of now, site is being tested on localhost. So I can’t give the link.

It should be in rest files package. After you cpoy it to jomsocial templates please check in js settings if gk template is setted as default one.

Well, I downloaded the rest of the files and just copied over all css files to JomSocial template. Let me know if I missed something.

Thanks.

You mean you copied gk_style folder right? Please check in jomsocial settnigs in backend if gk_style is setted as default jomsocial template.

Well, the confusing part is this. I am using latest version of Joomla and JomSocial, but you have updates available for Joomla 1.7...

Anyway, I've downloaded "gk_music_rest_files_J!17.zip" file and replaced only CSS folder of GK_Style. And it is a default template.

-------

I have done the same first time around and i am still getting the alignment issues with menu items such as "* create" or "* menu1" - all the star items are messed up as per this users example. So i am using your latest jomsocial version. Howcome it states jomsocial styling - but it doesn't support basic styling for jomsocial components such as "my twitter update" or "myblog" ?

So what's the solution, Mr. Konrad?

Look, I have posted my question Sun Feb 26, 2012 6:57 pm. It is 03/01/2012 8.15am CST. Are you planning to resolve the issue? I paid money not to get a "broken" product. Please help ASAP.

This needs to be changed as it's confusing people. Also, I think you should have better directions as to what exactly needs to be done to update whatever needs to be updated...

I'll be interested to see how this is resolved as i have the same issue with green stars and links and have installed and configured everything as per instructions, so something is a miss.

HAVE 2.5 template installed with the gk_style folder for jomsocial from 1.7 rest of files zip file.
I have overide on for other template bugs
I have the template gk_style defaulted for jomsocial

So eager to see what the issue is once you guys get it resolved so i can apply same fix.

Well, I don't know if you saw that, but as I said I am working on web site and don't have an actual web site yet. It's all on local machine. Anyway, I don't know why you need an access to my machine. I am not doing anything other than installing latest version of Joomla, JomSocial and you template. And we live in the same world, so we obviously use the same technology.

You should be able to replicate the issue. This why I've attached the screenshots. I am sure all of us have the same issue as this is a layout issue and you should fix and update the template in download section.

If your talking about this:

----------------------
4. JomSocial user profile avatar change (when user clicks on avatar) has some layout issues. It won’t show the “Browse” button to choose the avatar, etc. Please see the following screenshot at:
[cut]
-----------------------

mine works fine see below:
gavickavatarupload.jpg

maybe its a disabled plugin somewhere?

Probably not. I installed everything fresh. Also, I didn't check only in one browser. I tested it in Firefox, IE, Chrom, Opera & Safari...

romgavick go to gk_style.toolbar.css and find
Code: Select all
#community-wrap .submenu li a {height:32px;line-height: 32px;margin: 0 5px; padding: 7px;text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 11px; font-weight: bold; color: #626262; line-height: 12px;-moz-border-radius: 3px;-webkit-border-radius: 3px;border-radius: 3px;}

and change to
Code: Select all
#community-wrap .submenu li a {float:left;line-height: 32px;margin: 0 5px; padding: 7px;text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 11px; font-weight: bold; color: #626262; line-height: 17px;-moz-border-radius: 3px;-webkit-border-radius: 3px;border-radius: 3px;}
