Having serious problems with the hover behaviour on the Jomsocial toolbar with both Opera and IE9 so far.

Whenever you trigger the droplist menu and try to mouse over it the menu is immediately disappearing making all droplists on the menu toolbar impossible to select.

Please switch to default template and check toolbar behaviour. If the problem still exist I advise you to contact with JomSocial support because this is only 3rd party extension which we use in our templates not our product so we are no experts in this area.

I tested it, with a totally standard default template set the droplists on the jomsocial toolbar are perfectly normal and selectable, this is a problem related to gk_music or its jomsocial styling over-rides.

It has been answered in another thread - try reading all the other threads to see similar issues you have. Most are already resolved. Here is what the other thread said - hope this helps:

Found solution for problem 1!

Please find #jsMenu .jsMenuBar li ul on line 28 of components/com_community/templates/gk_style/css/gk_style.toolbar.css

Change top 40px to top 37px

And thats it.

Ah, weve talked on the Kunena forum, thanks.

Did have a read but must have missed that one. I actually did some manual over-rides to go back to using the default jomsocial template but change colours a bit to suit the template, but it seems that aspects of gk_music are over-riding the default jomsocial template styling, seen this before with Gavick templates and JS but not to this particular extent.

Trying to stay as close to defaults with js for an easy life as using it and other components over several sites is making for too much work just simply doing upgrades and maintenance.

By chance does anyone know the list of styling elements from the gavick css which are affecting the jomsocial default css?

Would you happen to have the full list of css attributes to cancel to stop music from over-riding the styling from the jomsocial template? I was hoping support could supply them but interest in this thread seems to have passed. All Im after is to be able to let Jomsocial update the default template during software updates so I can just over-ride some colour attributes and not have to use the gavick jomsocial styling.

Im going retro with as many jomsocial sites as I can to stay near the JS default, Jomsocial change and alter their templating far too damn much, Ive found with several templating clubs its a step too far for them to stay on top of keeping up with constant changes to JS, and I certainly dont need the extra hassle of the work it adds, besides the music style for JS is way too oversize in its styling, totally out of proportion with the rest of a site using this template.
