Change backgrounds

I am wanting to use another color for the background. I selected blue in the template with no background. I went to template.css to put in the new color. The page background color only goes halfway and then the bottom is still gray. Where do I change that?

Please remember that the background color can be specified both in the styleX.css and in the patternY.css files where X and Y are numbers of the selected styles and background patterns.
