MyFolio update from 2.9.1 to 2.12 problem

Dear all

Can someone please advise me on how to upgrage MyFolio from the version 2.9.1 to the latest 2.12?
I've updated all the files from the new version as suggested on the MyFolio page (this shows which files to copy across for an upgrade). However, this didn't work and my website stayed completely blank after the update. Fortunately I've backed up all the files so could go back to the original state.

What is the best and most secure way of updating the template? My website is live and I wouldn't want to reinstall the whole lot. Any help is very much appreciated.

Please take a look at this site https://www.gavick.com/index.php?filter ... Itemid=399 here You can see all update versions along with informations of a file which was modified. So using this You will be able to overwrite only neccessary files. Please use the latest version of template as base so You will not have to overwrite files twice if it's gonna show in version register.
