error in mod_news_pro_gk4

I tried to understand the quickstart of this template to reproduce it from start, but when I tried to edit this module with the name Latest Project, appears this error
"Check-out failed with the following error: The user checking out does not match the user who checked out the item.
You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#207)."
I changed the privileges of the users, but nothig. Then I eliminate the users, and nothig again.

How can I open it? (I install the quickstart in localhost in an iMac with OSX Tiger and MAMP)

In the module manager, select that module and click to Check-in button then it will let you open.
