Dropdowns are blank on registration

I have an odd thing happening on my registration form (Internet Explorer only) - people cannot see the options in the dropdown selection boxes for county and membership type. I am using Community Builder registration.

It works fine in Firefox, and Safari but not IE, however when I switch to the default joomla template the dropdowns DO work perfectly.

These are not dynamically generated dropdowns, just plain ones created within CB. I have posted on CB forum and they believe it to be a template problem.

Can anyone please take a second or two to have a look and suggest whether there is something I can do about this please?

I see that somebody else had a similar issue but no solution posted.

I am using J!2.5.2 / CB 1.8

I've check this page on IE9, IE8 and IE7.
All it's working fine from my side.

Thanks Seichinha, I have since first posting deleted the template CSS for the select dropdowns and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Thank you so much for checking on all those browsers. Looks like we have this one licked now - though still not entirely sure why it happened in the first place - will try switching bits of CSS back on one by one to see what is the culprit.
