GK2 Category styling?!?

Hi,

I want edit it to have:
01. the thumbnail on the left side of the introtext
02. the additional info (date, hits and etc) below the introtext.

How can I style this? I already looked it up in the GK2 folder in the template folder. But this is Php coding and I don't get it.
