Message in a pop-up

Dear sirs,
Can I replace the position of "welcome message" (or other joomla message)? It appears in this template above the mainbody (under the mainmenu position) but I would like to open it in a pop-up. It's a possible?

Sorry but making this as popup is a customization which we do not support.
