Try go to menu item settings. Here in right column you will find 'Page Display Options' section. In this section you will find 'Browser Page Title' option. Try add your title here.

seems that there is some parameter in the Gavick themes, when I insert the name of the theme as suggested, My title is duplicated:

<title>My site - My site</title>

Global Configuration >> SEO Settings >> Include Site Name in Page Titles >> befor/after:

The title is tripled:

<title>My site - My site - My site</title>

Set Include Site Name in Page Titles as No. In site settings you have 'Site Name *' option. Here you can set global name for your site. And for home set some diffrent or let it blank. Becasue now probably you have Set this global name as same as on home and it is the reason why you see duplicated name.
