K2 and ordre modules

I'm doing a site based on The World News II in Joomla 1.7.3. I am satisfied with the work, but I find myself in front of two problems: 1) after installing K2 have access to it only from the Control Panel menu and not "components" because it does not appear, 2) the command to sort the modules is as if it was disabled or unable to change position I lock the form and then make a copy of this publication that goes to position the tail of the first module that was next. Let me explain: If I have three modules placed in the order 1,2,3 and I want to bring the 3 in the first place I must stop 1 and 2 make the first copy of what I want right after the 3 and then edit the copy and so on .
It should remain that way and it is possible to restore the original function using the arrow pulsantrini blue with white?

Apparently they are problem from K2 component but the template. Did you try reinstalling K2?
