Can someone please tell me how to change the width of the dropdown columns in the GKmenu?
This seems to be one of the most unanswered questions in the forums.

Hi,

The default width value of menu column is 200px, if you want to change this:

- Open file: \templates\gk_twn2\lib\menu\GKMenu.php

- Find this code:
Code: Select all
$colw = 200;

Change 200 to a different number you want.

Thanks. That worked, but I had to change it in three different spots in that file to get all three columns to that width.

File this under my "wish list". It would be nice to have the per menu item control like we used to have with 1.5 and the 1.5 template.

Parameters (Extended) allowed you to control submenu width, Submenu Column Width and Submenu(s) column widths using colw1=200 or colw3=300 etc.

The newer GavickPro menu is great, but losing that particular set of features is a step back in my opinion.

Hi Kev,

I have checked and there is only one code like that in the file. Did the solution help you?
