K2 Extension please help

Hi i had to delete the quick install template but now after putting in only the template itself, it does not have some of the components and modules, can someone please let me know where i can get k2 from and any other component or module that i need

Hi does anyone know what settings i need to do to get the k2 extension to look like the world news demo in position top1 where it has a picture and then articles at the side. I cannot seem to find the settings that are the same as the demo.

That module is News Show Pro GK4 which is Gavick Pro Module. What you can do is install a local installation from quickstart and compare the active modules , plugins as well as module settings and apply them to your installation one at a time.

hi, i have done this and have set the top1 position exactly the same but even though both modules on each site are the same, the result come out different

I think you forgot the font css overrides in font menu in template settings...

Edit: Also reheck article layout and link layout in news show pro gk4 module settings...

i cannot find this font overide, i have looked under font s in the main template and nothing there. also i have copied the layout as per the demo. the only difference is, for the top1 position they are using joomla articles and not k2 articles, does this mean there is something wrong with the k2 and that is why it is not showing the other articles. the picture shows but not the articles down the side

As for K2 articles instead of Joomla Articles , i suggest using Joomla Articles until you get the layout right then you can switch back to K2.

thanks for that. i have just tried a test of joomla articles and still only getting one article without the articles next to the main picture.
