Missing Image Captions & Padding in K2 items

Hi

When placing images within the text of K2 articles, my text butts right up to the photo and any captions do not appear underneath. Am I missing something in the CSS or is this a conflict between the template (Quickstart installation of TheWorldNews2, J1.7) and K2?
