Hi!
I'm using The World News II (version 2.1) template for joomla 1.7. I finally get everything to exactly where I like it, but when I click to make the site live, everything breaks. Per the request of the support team, I added this code:
#gkComponentWrap {
width: 100% !important;
}

But it just seemed to make things worse. The frontpage was essentially using the same layout as the quick start. Here's what happens.
When I'm logged in to the frontend of the site as the admin when the site is turned off, everything on the frontpage and a different page displays properly. However, if turn the site on and I look at the page when I'm not logged in, an empty column appears at the right of the mainbody area (I assume it's in the Inset 2 module position, but nothing is configured for that spot).
The spacing on the right side of the page for all the articles is all messed up. See attached image. It's as if there's an extra ghost module hanging out on the right. *** This only happens on a live site, not when working on it when the site isn't live. It looks fine then. Why would it look good offline, then mess up when live like this? I've never seen this happen before.
After adding the code they emailed me, the "ghost" module still appears on the inner page.
If I move the items from the inset position to the left_left position, the frontpage goes out of alignment, with about a 20px gap on the right side of the page (plus I can't increase the size of the left box). The Tea Party Nationalism page also has the same problem. Plus, I had to move modules over to the left_left position, to get rid of the other "ghost" module that messes things up on this page when the site is live.
I really need your help on this one. I'm exhausted and very frustrated trying to figure this out. Thanks!
