Problem installing modules and plugins after quickstart is installed

I installed gk_twn2_quickstart_J!17 on antaryami.net/broadcast , and the website loads with the template. But I am incapable of installing any plugins or mod, the following error appears no matter what i try to install. i changed the File/directory permissions to 777 (recursively) and still the same problem. I also checked if i gave correct ftp id and password.

error is
JFTP: tore: Bad response
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /hsphere/local/home/antaryami/antaryami.net/broadcast/tmp/facebook/facebook.php to /hsphere/local/home/antaryami/antaryami.net/broadcast/plugins/authentication/facebook/facebook.php

I am struck up, Please help me ASAP.

Someone kindly answer my question. I see that other questions are being answered. I am new to webdesigning. If I have not provided enough information, kindly suggest me what more info I need to submit.
