Joomla/K2 Search field style

Hi all, I'm using K2 component, so I have to use K2 Search tool. The thing is that I don't like how K2 search field looks like and I would like to keep style of Joomla Search field. Is this possible and how? In attachment you can see photo comparison.

Hi --

I think I have the same or at least similar question/issue. I am using the World News II template and even though K2 is installed, the template search box (that has the cool auto-complete dropdown -- as seen in the demo) only reads the core joomla articles. It will not find any K2 items.

I must be missing something....

Any ideas?

Please make sure that you have enabled the K2 search plugin. (/administrator/Extension/Extension Manager/Plug-in Manager/Search - K2

All of the search plugins were enabled (attached screenshot).... Still not able to get result of k2 item.

Try to update k2 with the latest release:

Search works fine in my site with the last version.
