Username and password do not match - facebook login

when try to login via facebook login:

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

how to fix it?
I think that user when push button login via facebook don't need been previously registered.

I'm having issues with FB Login as well. When I choose Login with Facebook, I get "Error" popup message.

Do we need to create a Facebook API Key and Secret for the Authenticate-Facebook plugin? This is all new to me. Thanks for any help in getting this to work.

Dombrovskyi, have you created an API Key and Secret? If not, I think you need to start with that:

http://facebook.com/developers
create a name for your "app" ie. website name
You will then see the key and secrete to use within Joomla

I think you need to enter the key in the Social API field within the Template settings. I've also entered the key and secret within the Authentication - Facebook Plugin.

Again, I'm not really sure if I'm doing this correct and I'm still having an issue. Now when I try to login with FB I'm getting the following message:

An error occurred with Californiastandup.com. Please try again later.

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application.

Hope someone can chime in and provide some direction. Good luck.

I'm create an API Key and Secret in template.
Facebook work corectly but joomla site wrote: Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet. That's mean that user not registered on the my joomla site, but this process must be automaticly.

Just to double check which version of the template are you guys using as this was supposed to be fixed in version 2.0

, I'm using the last update of the template (The World News II 2.3 for Joomla 1.7) and I put the Api Key of my Facebook App in the right place between the template parameters.

Anyone knows what's the problem?

Something's up again with the FB API ...

I've double and triple checked the latest updates for Music and WII, and nothing.

What I'm seeing is that even the FB login for get2k is not working / other sites not working, including the demos.

So, I guess it is an API issue on the FB side ...

Very sad, I had it working for a day or 2.
