Hi,

I just installed the quickstart templates world news II 1.7 and everything works except the images throughout the site. Instead of having the same images as the demo version, I have to palces images gk demo and this on all pages on the site. When I return to k2 or an article to change the image by downloading a new one, it does not work. I always picture gk demo after downloading a new in the article. Is it a question of law?

Thank you for your help

Hi

Yes it's a question of copyrights.
Some of the images used on our demo have copyrights reserved and others have Creative Commons License.
We can't provide quickstart with this images.

About K2 images, if you want to change the image first you need to remove it and them add your own. It's a K2 issue.

Cheers ;)

I have the same problem. Even when I delete an image and the upload one of my own, the demo image keeps coming back. I am unable to replace the demo images with my own images

EDIT: I seems it has something to do with the cache of my browser. Cleaning the cache or visit the site in Incognito Mode (Google Chrome) shows that the images have been replaced by my own images.

Try this. Go to your module manager on the backend and change the cache 30 to 0 on the module you want. After this, refresh your page and then your are be able to see your own pictures.

Yes if you are referring to Thumbnails on NSP GK4, naturally you need to change cache time to 0 to replace images on this module ;) But after this i recommend that you change again to 30 minutes, after you change all your images.

Another way is to start creating your own categories and articles ;)

Just turn cache on the module to 0, otherwise you'll have to wait for the browser to refresh, or clean cache.
