What about documentation for this template? I know that answer is NO but really maybe will be good to publish just instal parameters for plg/comp/mod used on demo page... Specially for News Show Pro where is so many options... I hope that also other GAVICK subscribers think the same as me...

Well, you can do like I do when I use a template I'm not familiar.

1: Install the demo on a sub-folder like /dev

2: Install a clean version of Joomla in another folder caller /new

After you've got both installed, you can see on /dev how extensions are setup, configured, and the positions it display, and reproduce that on /new the way you like it, and by then you'll have the perception of the data the template has and in how it should work.

I guess it takes, but believe me it's worthy, some people just want to do things in a big hurry and it turns to be a big mess.

Well friend, after you get your setup that way, would be a lot easier to work, also, on /dev you can test funcions/extensions you wanna try without affecting the production site, avoiding problems, then just copy all to it and voilá, working as a pro :cheer:

All true and good, but just a workflow and not a valid excuse for lack of documentation. I bounce back and forth with various paid subscriptions. Lack of documentation has always be the one weak point with Gavick.

is there any way we could obtain a map of the layout showing which module goes where??

rockettheme usually provides this for their templates and it's a great help when setting up article modules.

thank you, i never thought to look in the demo site thinking it was just that, a demo. i thought the module maps would be included with the source and/or documentation (which it is not), not on the demo site, oh well...

There's a basic module layout under "Template" menu in the demo:
