Error in Financial Business template

I have installed last template in Joomla 1.6.4 but I get this error:
Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in /home/platform/domains/piattaformeweb.it/public_html/templates/gk_finance_business/libs/gk.template.helper.php on line 340

how does one remove the date on this template on the nk4 modules..

Please look at module settings, you can find lines where you can set the additional info. The date is available by tag %DATE so you need delete this part to hide the date.

Are you trying to install Financial Business in Joomla1.6? this template works with joomla1.5 only!

I tried to install Quickstart for J1.5 but keep getting installation errors.

Which errors are you getting and which method are you using to upload?

If cPanel I strongly suggest you to upload via File Manager, as FTP breaks sometimes and get's faulty installs, just send it as a zip via cPanel file manager and then decompress inside, that's faster and secure.
