Upgrade to 2.5 Link Error

Good day,

I recently upgraded my site from joomla 1.7 to joomla 2.5.

I am using the GK Financial Business template.

I purged the cache first and when upgrading noticed db errors. I have applied a db fix in joomla.

After joomla updated all website links are now unclickable. Only the home page is visible.

If i change template to a default joomla template the links work.

Could anyone please offer advice on how to get the site working.

Could you tell what type of updates way you choose , via Joomla! update manager installer or by replacing files ? I advise you to backup database and try to install template for Joomla! 2.5 (quickstart is the fastest way) and then try to restore your previous content.

I updated using the Joomla update manager.

Should I backup the database and then copy the quickstart to my root folder, unpack and then install?

Then import database?
