k2 + Jcomments

I am really confused

I could swear the default setup for templates like finance business is Jcomments for K2.

I (think I) remember disabling this and enabling K2 comment system.

But now it turns out the we need to use Jcomments on k2 articles and I am not able to set back as (I think) it was originally!

Please help me.

Do you mean that you can't use Jcomment now? Can you send a PM with backend access then I can take a look on the issue to advise you better?
