Change module position

Hello!

I would like to set module position of "search module" to position of "login module". (And also set there the language-flags of a multi-language-module.)
There is already a post in this forum and I tried to do it like described.
Make a new position in the templateDetails.xml and add some code in the top.php.
But unfortunatelly it doesn't work. Front-Page-design changes in a simple link list and on bottom following meassge is displayed: "Fatal error: Call to undefined method GKTemplate::countModules() in /kunden/294926_90427/webseiten/jochen meier/rso/templates/gk_finance_business/layouts/blocks/top.php on line 41".
