K2 Comments for Financial Business

Once I configure template for my needs I have another issue coming up and that is comments.

I have a DB of JComments that were used on some of J1.5 Gavick templates.

As JComments for Joomla v1.7 still isn't available, I wonder is it possible to import JComments v1.5 to K2 on Joomla 1.7 or I will have to wait until JComments become available for J1.7?
