How to add article to front page?

I would like to add articles to front page but even if articles has marked option "frontpage" they do not appear. What should I do?

Try template settings, there's an option to display content on main page besides modules.

I did what you write. Everything is fine now. I had to change options in template:

Show mainbody on frontpage: ON
Maibody position: Mainbody before component OR Mainbody after component

You see, templates either display modules, mainbody, or both. Just a matter of testing which one is more suitable for you.
