Hi,

I am currently rebuilding my website using joomla 1.6 and your template. My problem is that no matter what I do, it will stay the same. Please do not advise to clear the browser cache etc, this has all been done and tested with different browsers, computers, windows 7 and snow leopard.
What I have done:

[*]
[*]
  • inserted custom logo via template option in backend
  • deleted default logo and uploaded new one in gk_pixellove folder
  • cleared cache in joomla backend, browsers, restarted my computer etc etc
  • tested on windows 7 with: chrome, firefox 5, internet explorer
  • tested on a mac with snow leopard: firefox 4 and safari 4

my website under construction: www.mrmad.de

This template has different images for light/dark color version are you that you replace files in template/images/dark/logo.png and template/images/light/logo.png ? Logo image in your site is from http://www.mrmad.de/templates/gk_pixell ... k/logo.png and you don't replace this image because I can see the default template logo :)

holy sh*t how can I be so blind! That was it. Still I am confused as why there is a logo.png in /images and why the upload function in the template backend won't replace that logo. Whatever, thanks a lot it is working now of course!
I am really sorry and thanks again for the prompt reply!

The easiest way to check logo file path is always use firebug - must have tool when you try to customize templates.

Hi

I always keep customizations in css only, so override.css file is a great help in this kind of work.
