Hello to the community,

i have tried a lot but with no success to create a multilanguage main menu. I have Joomla 1.7 installed and here goes the story.

I have create a Main Menu with some items there (it is for All languages).
I have create an English Menu with english items (it is for English language).
I have create a Greek Menu with greek items (it is for Greek language).

In Pixellove template settings, in Menu section i choose as Menu Name : Main Menu. The main menu is visible but it doesn't make any change when i switch from one language to another.
If i choose as Menu name: Greek Menu, the greek menu is visible but it disappears when i switch to english language!

Is this a known problem ? Can we do something about it ?

As a multilanguage issue, i would like to ask something else

In Pixellove template settings page, i can choose in Basic Settings, that in Main Body - Frontpage has only the Mainbody (without component).
If i create Frontpage articles in English and Greek menus, the main problem is that Frontpage has the component that i don't want to!

I managed to solve this issue by following this tutorial: http://help.joomla.org/files/EN-GB_mult ... torial.pdf
But you will need to omit step 6 and also you must do step 7, which is usually optional. By doing step 7 you will be able to specify main menu in theme settings for each language. I tried to convince guys from Gavick to move main menu into separate module, but they refused :(
