Article display

Hey,

So I am having some issues displaying my articles. I have the news show pro installed and my home page as featured articles. But when I click one of the articles it simply redirects to the homepage and doesn't display it and you can see the url link that is supposed to show the article.

Also I tried a different method and it managed to display the article but on the same page on the bottom instead of a new page. How can I make it display in a new page such as in the demo 1.5 version

This is a problem with menu structure. Article needs to have a landing page to open on. Otherways the page where was clicked will be used. Please simply add to menu an item linking to article/category/section (any will do).

I just saw this with my template as well. I've created a menu item and I can get to the article; however shouldn't the read more link or the image link in the article automatically link you to the article page? Is there a setting somewhere to allow this to happen; otherwise I would have to create a menu item for each of my articles which would mean I'd have quite a few menu items I don't need published. Am I understanding this correctly?

I upgraded my Joomla to the latest 1.6 stable code and it seemed to fix the problem of linking to the article.
