Hi
Please could you tell us how to turn on the social icons in Pixellove, or how to duplicate the icons shown in the template demo? I see that someone else has already asked this, over a week ago, so I'm adding my request.
Thanks

ok, never mind, I've worked it out by looking at the Quickstart files. For everyone's information, its a Custom HTML module, with all the icons loaded, add your own links etc, and "nopad" as the module class suffix.....not sure where that leaves those Twitter/facebook/Vimeo on/off buttons in the Template Manager parameters, however...??

Hi

It's a custom module type published on "left_bottom" position.

Code: Select all
<div class="skill"><span class="bar w50 color1">50</span>Adobe Photoshop</div>
<div class="skill"><span class="bar w20 color3">20</span>Flash</div>
<div class="skill"><span class="bar w30 color2">30</span>XHTML & CSS3</div>
<div class="skill"><span class="bar w40 color4">40</span>Print Illustration</div>

Naturally you can play with classes for customization ;)

Cheers

Hi

Just had a look at your site. It looks like you have installed the quickstart package, whch is where I found the original solution to my question. The image files are in the template folder, under light and dark, and they must be used by the custom module Gavick have written for this template. Not sure if that helps you at all?

Hi

I'm not sure what you have done, or how to put this right, especially as I haven't tried using the social icons in this template yet. Looking at your site however, I just get text showing " Link Link Link etc", no icons, and two of the text entries are dead, ie there is no link associated with them. So, it looks like none of the icons are loading, and two links are also broken. Not sure if that helps. You may be seeing the icons as they are stored in your browser cache?

Do you mean the social icons that should appear at the very top of the site? According to the template features, you can enable social icons somewhere at the top...twitter vimeo and facebook are the ones that can be enabled or disabled.

I have enabled these but they dont show either
