How to make the template appear as it does in the demo?

I installed the template to www.legsbumsandtums.com and i'm really confused as to where to start

are the same processes in set up the same in J 1.6 and is J 1.5?

How do i get the template to look as it does in the demo so i can mess with it and learn through trial and error?

You need to install the Quickstart package for the template to replicate the demo. You can find out more here

I've done this but i cant see the photoslide in the components menu?

It's not in the components menu. It's in the Modules Manager - module named Image Show GK4.
