Global Configuration won't save & close

Global Configuration after changes are made won't save and close. Nor will it save only. I changed email added mete tags when to save and it did nothing. What will fix that?

Darn. It's been 3 days and no one has even been here to help! Time is all we have and some of us have very little of it. I am one of them. My membership will be over soon and the last 3 days when without any support at all.

There is something very wrong with joomla in this template! Global Configuration will not save changes. It will not save changes and close. I removed the template and it's joomla components and installed Joomla_1.6.3-Stable-Full_Package and all worked great.

So, what is wrong and if my membership ends before you answer here, will you email me the answer and correct file?

I had this problem the other day,somehow all my editors had become unpublished in the plugins directory and this prevents the global config from saving. Just go to Plugins,search editor and enable at least one of them,should solve your problem.

Global configuration is strictly connected with joomla not our templates. Please check if the permissions on the configuration.php file are set to 755. Check the joomla forum for more informations about this problem.

there is a problem with IE and joomla 1.7

just make your config changes using Firefox
