Mega menu dropdown position

Hi

How do I change the dropdown position of the gkmenu (mega menu)?

I need it to always stay within the frame. for example, if I have three columns in the last menu item it goes way out to the right, since it is aligned to dropdown on the left I assume.

What could be really great was to have it stretch across the whole frame! like the attatchment!

did you ever find a solution for this issue...

Please take a look inside the menu item settings. In advanced settings You will find the right option to set the width of the submenu.

thats not what i am looking for.... i want to know 2 things---

1) i just want no matter how many columns - the mega menu to extend the width of the template..
2) i want it to line up the left margin of the template and not bleed over the margins...right now if the last menu item has 2 columns then it bleeds over the template margin to the right...

is this possible?

If You would like to make it automaticaly than some hard coding is required. But this can be made the easier way by setting the width of the template as submenu width in Extended parameters.

The margins than can be fixed by a module class suffix.

ok i turned off the css compression... please let me know...

Well not quite, I did however manage to remove the hardcoded settings. Now the width is set by the content of the menu.

You need to specify new settings or simply delete them in menu.gkmenu.js.
