Images disappear after page reload in Joomla 2.5.3

Hi Gavick,

I'm having a problem that might be related to your GK Cache and GK ExtCache plugins.

When I go to specific pages, the images display fine. When I reload the pages the images disappear and instead show the broken image icons.

I checked the source and the difference is that when the page first loads, the image paths have a preceding forward slash "/images/path_to_file". But after reloading the page, the forward slash is gone "images/path_to_file".

I read elsewhere in this forum that it could be due to the ordering of the GK Cache and GK ExtCache plugins. I checked and here is the order:

GK Cache
plg_system_gavickExtCache
System - SEF
System - Cache (unpublished)

I do have Use GK Cache set to On in the AppSite template Advanced Settings.

I looked at the GK Cache/GK ExtCache wiki page here:
https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... ce-plugin/

One strange thing is that I cannot type into the numerical ordering fields. I don't know what could be causing that.

I'm getting this problem in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE8, IE9. Site is running Joomla 2.5.3. The AppSite version was upgraded on Jan 25, 2012 so I think it is up to date. (Clicking the Download link in the template Update section goes to a 404 page at your site.)

Please advise how to fix this ASAP.

Thanks,

Okay, looks like the solution was to move the System - SEF plugin above the GK ExtCache plugin in the plugin order... which I learned is accomplished not via the numerical ordering fields, but rather, but clicking on the desired plugin and changing its order via the Ordering pull-down menu.

I tried to move it above both plugins as in your GK Cache and GK ExtCache plugin Wiki, but I couldn't get it to move up above the GK Cache plugin. Wonder why? But it seems to have solved the problem.

Please let me know if it also needs to be above GK Cache.

Thanks,
