Hello,

I am having issues with the template and Internet explorer 8 (see below). It appears that the entire template has disappeared. It seems to go away after a few refreshes, but this is not a good thing to be happening for site members and visitors and undoubtedly will deter traffic. Can someone please assist me in resolving this issue? Here is the information about the error I am experiencing and what I am running.

Thanks in advance

I have done a little proding around on the net, and I found others having similar issues and it's a result of the T3 Framework and caching.

T3 cache problem, CSS links missing, handheldfrinedly template in cache
There is no solution given for this anywhere.

Please! I need help with this. I am having to constantly watch the site for these instances and clear the cache. Members are reporting the issue left and right.

3 Days and still no support? Seriously??

Is anyone going to offer any support on my issue? This really isn't fair guys... c'mon, give me some help here for crying out loud.

My site's CSS is crashing continously ever since I went live, people are seeing the mobile/handheld template on their pc's instead of the default, the fonts are not showing up when the pages first load.. it takes a awhile .. surely someone here has got to have some idea as to what is going on with all this craziness with the caching??????????

I worked for four months straight to get my site moved over to this template and it's really tearing me up that I may be forced to rebuild with yet another template out there. Please don't just take my money and leave me sitting here like this with these issues. :(

did anyone ever get back to you? so this happens when your site is cached? ive got 2 site's that are having small issue's when they are cached... css and all styling is stripped and the only way to resolve the issue is to clear the cache and refresh the page...

Hi treybraid,

Nope.. I haven't received one response to this problem at all . The only thing I have been able to do is to just babysit the site and check every hour and try to catch it when it happens and clear the cache.

i did put a ticket in and made mention of the issue with the megamenu acting up---- when set to default it wants to revert to mobile when viewed on mobile device's... im also seeing issue's where the site crashes or the css and styling is completely stripped when the site's cache is turned on and the cache size is very high....

i can always login and clear the cache and the issue take's care of itself...gavick tech support said they were forwarding my ticket to the developer; but, i have my doubts since the megamenu - t3 framework is actually a joomla art product-- something they simply borrowed and adopted to their template/s... i wish i had known about this before i chose this template and bought the membership..

will let you know when i get back the results of the ticket...

For anyone checking out this post... Ive been going back and forth with the developer for the last week or so about issue's with the Mega Menu and it reverting to the mobile option. He has indicated that he hasn't seen an issue on their end; but, that it might be an issue with the core Joomla Cache Plugin ( this makes no sense to me since my install is 2.5yrs and the issue only reared it's ugly head when I installed the Sporter Template and chose the Mega Menu for default )...

The exact issue I have is this--- when the site cache gets really big/ high the menu basically crashes and isn't loaded properly... clearing the cache resolve's the issue imediately. Being that the Mega Menu is a product of the T3 Framerwork from Joomla Art- I hope they are able to touch base with them about a possible bug... I've got 2 separate site's with the similar issue.

..stay tuned...

Hey treybraid! Thank you soooo much for sharing this information with us! It's strange you posted this because I was going to do the same. Through trial and error, I found that I had to disable my joomla cache from the site configuration as well as the plugin and no more css crashes. This is just a theory, but I seen under the gk_musicity template manager that there is a css option there. I have that one turned on. Perhaps it's too much or there is a conflict between the joomla core cache and the template css cache running at the same time? In any case, it seems to work with it only being one or the other, not both.

the developer just emailed me and he is contacting joomla ja since the t3 framework and mega menu is their product... i think the issue is the template and how it handles the site cache and it gets easily overloaded with cache file's...

will keep you abreast what he says next...
